Hello Hunters:

Thank you for your interest in hunting with Double-B-Outfitters, 2008 will be our 6th year in business, our goal is to improve each year. Most of the property we hunt has been managed for over 25 years and all is private.

We have an excellent swan population in our area. Our swan hunting is done the last two weeks of Oct. and possibly the first week Nov. There are 750 swan licenses available on a draw bases. We will help you apply for the license if you are interested.

Our duck and goose hunting is awesome. We have 10-12 different species of ducks to hunt. Our goose hunting will be mostly the large Canadian honker, weighing 10-15 pounds. Many of these geese are raised locally so our goose numbers just continue to increase.

The Sharp tail grouse and Hungarian Partridge season opens the middle of September. If we get a good hatch our numbers may be at an all time high, these birds are fun to hunt and good to eat. Our pheasant hunts are done mostly on a preserve, but our wild pheasant population continues to grow, with a mild winter we hope to have a good huntable number of wild birds.

We only archery hunt on our property and that will be done around food plots of corn, alfalfa, and clover. These food plots help keep the deer in the area. We will only take a very limited number of bow hunters each year so we can maintain our buck quality. We had some hunters pass on 120-130 class deer looking for larger. These people are die-hard trophy hunters.

We will be offering buffalo hunts in 2008 with the age and size of the animal determining the price. This will provide a unique experience and some excellent meat to take home.

We will have 2-day antler less deer hunts in December. We have an excessive number of does and need some additional harvest. We are very sure you will get a shooting opportunity.
